It was my 1st day at IIT
I was filled with joy and glee

saw the campus clean and green
hoped from these woods will appear my beauty queen

one day on a romantic date
i would open the auspicious gate
take her to the mighty lake
would say my heart out
and some love i will make

lot of adrenalin was rushing through my vein
for i thought henceforth it will be no pain only gain

An year passed i could hear the clock tick tock
i awaited but nobody even made a knock

Now i got well versed with technology
and got a laptop being senior's protege
setting its wallpaper as a girl
waiting on the bank playful with her curl

thus laptop became my best friend
fulfilling my fantasies in the end

continuing my edays i was a sophomore
all this was not enough yeh dil mange more!

i could hear my gradesheet yelp
so i decided to give it a help
alas there was no helping hand
elec got me all nor and nand

but the desire was still incomplete
to woo a girl i gotta be more fleet

its the time i am a middler now
of many things i've become fiddler now

when a girl invites me to the lake
well the above line may seem so fake
but all i say from my laptop is that
hey pack lake lets chat

now me left with some more time
to make my life a melody and rhyme


if you think of coming to IIT
at the end i can tell you this
you might as well kiss a miss
but in these busy days my son
for sure you will miss a kiss.
