I got a D

Desperate for love and affection

desperate for recognition

desperate souls devoid of pleasure

shallow desperation made deep without a plunge

urge for love as sinful as sexual pleasure

a spoonful of nothing to subdue a seizure

love i thought was as deep as Freud

but for a desperation ought to be glued

shallow shallow my love my love

for it is to fulfil my unknown desire

yellow for a day, blue for an evening,

black for a night

oh what a plight..

for we shall cease to love at the dusk of a desperation,

following a color blindness

should i cease to love before my desperation ends?

For i shall dwell in superiority

but without love i shall die

viola!!!! if the death is superior......

generally love is considered pure and divine...i mean its ok to ask some girl first for love but not ok to ask for sexual pleasure right away.
but if desperation is the cause to both love as well as sexual pleasure then no one is superior than the other.
so if we consider something which is a result of desperation as sinful, then love too is sinful coz in most cases it is a desire that comes out due to desperation.
P.S: it will take courage to accept that love and affection is our desperate need.

phew the poem is complicated to undrstnd.
Bt as u said in prev comment it's true!
Affection is our desperate need, bt rather than love, the feeling of being loved, or want 2 b loved is mre of a desperation!
And the so called pure and divine love, is so called, as it has no desperation of being loved back, it only knows to surrender blindly and give everything the heart can!...

as of now i don't believe in that pure and divine love.
i think its our ignorance which forces us to believe what we believe
